Job Title: Engineer - Automation/Instrumentation - I (Assistant)
Location: Lower Gwynedd, PA 19002
Duration: 12 Months
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Engineering or Scientific field. 2yrs experience. 2 yrs. Real-world experience.
- Expertise in liquid class and method development on a Biomek system top skillset.
- Basic understanding of JavaScript/Visual Basic.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
Heavily preferred: Experience with DART and the reporting system and Biomek System
Preferred:
- Proficiency in automated assay execution
- Experience with automation scheduling software, such as Thermo Momentum, Biosero Green Button Go, or High Res Cellario
- Use of electronic laboratory notebooks
- Experience with GxP environment
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to operate automated laboratory equipment supporting clinical vaccine programs.
- Demonstrate the ability to follow established protocols and design new protocols to migrate assays from the bench to automated platforms.
- Contribute to the validation and implementation of Client automated workflow
- TOP Skillset: Looking for method development. Assays transitioning from bench to automated liquid handlers.
