JOB TITLE: Payroll Analyst
DURATION: 11 Months
SHIFT: General
LOCATION: Paramus, NJ
Project Description:
* Needs to be local to Paramus New Jersey office and comfortable coming in 4-5 days a week.
* 5 years experience related experience
* Start to finish payroll processing of assigned weekly and bi-weekly payrolls
* Processing weekly leave of absence
* Maintains and ensures the integrity and confidentiality of all employee files and HRIS records including employee information, reporting relationships, position codes, salary data, etc.by maintaining consistent treatment of department controls and procedures.
* Answers questions and assists with Payroll issue resolution for all employees.
* Work with Accounting, Treasury, HR, HRIS, Shared Services, and Accounts Payable
* Follow all SOPs to ensure ongoing internal control compliance
* Use of Case Management system for question/resolution tracking.
* Assist with garnishment / lien and child support processing.
* Be proactive in working with the General Ledger Team to avoid account discrepancies.
* Auditing weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing reports, checklists and documentation*
* Project work as needed.
* Excellent Excel skills - vlookups. pivots
* ADP's EV6 system and PeopleSoft is a plus
* Needs to be able to work independently to meet daily/weekly deadlines.
* Organized and able to multitask
* College degree preferred.
