Summary:The Health Insurance Exchange team seeks an Operations & Systems Engineer to enhance operations processes and support system performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:- System Monitoring & Issue Resolution – Track system availability, capacity, and performance, troubleshoot issues, and escalate as needed.
- Dynatrace Configuration & Alerts – Set up dashboards, create alerts, and monitor performance metrics.
- Technical Support & Maintenance – Oversee production system maintenance, patch management, and vendor coordination.
- Data & Reporting – Generate scheduled and ad-hoc reports using SQL and DB tools.
- User Access & Security Management – Handle access requests, digital certificate updates, and system security.
- Process Improvement & Best Practices – Develop and implement strategies to optimize operations efficiency.
- Documentation & Communication – Maintain reports, technical documents, and ensure clear communication with stakeholders.
- Experience in IT problem-solving, server monitoring, and report generation.
- Hands-on expertise with Dynatrace, AWS, QuickSight, and performance monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with synthetic monitoring, log analytics, and APM (Application Performance Monitoring) best practices.
- Basic scripting knowledge (Linux Shell, Python) for automation.
- Strong SQL reporting skills and familiarity with ER diagrams.
- Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, and SharePoint.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in system operations, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in regulated or government environments preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, MS Project).
