They are currently seeking a highly motivated M&A and Financial Analyst to join their team. This role offers an opportunity to work on high-profile transactions, with a strong focus on principal investments in the utilities and energy transition sectors, including exposure to 1-2 sub-sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Develop and refine financial models, with a strong focus on forecasting and valuation.
- Deal Execution: Support M&A transactions, including due diligence, structuring, and negotiations.
- Industry Expertise: Apply knowledge in regulated power, renewables, utilities, or similar sectors to evaluate investment opportunities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with senior team members to execute deals effectively.
- Junior Deal Leadership: Seamlessly lead junior deals, particularly for junior associates, ensuring efficient deal flow and execution.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2nd or 3rd-year analyst experience in M&A, financing, or principal investments within a traditional platform.
- Strong background in financial modeling and forecasting.
- Prior experience in regulated power, renewables, utilities, or similar industries.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $100K - $115K (based on experience).
- Bonus Structure: 25-40% of base salary
Salary : $100,000 - $115,000
