Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in finance and development, a strong M&A track record in clean energy and energy transition, and the ability to generate revenue through client relationships and deal execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute M&A and capital-raising transactions in the clean energy and energy transition sectors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with infrastructure funds, institutional investors, and strategic industry players.
- Drive business development initiatives, identify new deal opportunities, and secure mandates.
- Manage the full transaction lifecycle, from origination and structuring to negotiation and closing.
- Support and mentor junior team members to enhance deal execution capabilities.
- Collaborate with existing partners and senior leadership to grow the firm’s presence in the U.S.
- Potentially establish and lead a new office location (NY or DC) to expand market reach.
Candidate Profile:
- 15-20 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or project finance, with a focus on infrastructure and clean energy.
- Strong M&A and capital-raising experience, preferably with a track record in core renewables (solar, wind, battery storage).
- Demonstrated ability to generate revenue through client relationships and deal execution.
- Understanding of project finance structures and the ability to manage complex transactions.
- Based in the U.S., preferably in NY, DC, or Miami, with flexibility for remote work.
Compensation
- Base salary of $180K
- Uncapped bonus potential based on revenue generation and deal execution.
