What You’ll Do:
We are seeking a Program Manager to establish and lead the Program Management Office (PMO) for a high-visibility encryption program. This role requires a strong leader with expertise in program governance, project execution, stakeholder engagement, and risk management. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and adept at managing multiple priorities while fostering collaboration across diverse teams.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Establish and lead the PMO, ensuring effective program governance, structure, and execution.
- Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), tracking program milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Manage risk registers, identifying, tracking, and mitigating program risks while ensuring timely issue resolution.
- Oversee program planning, execution, and resource management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, transparency, and alignment across teams.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, working closely with technical and business teams to ensure program success.
- Develop and maintain program dashboards, reports, and status briefings for leadership and key stakeholders.
- Drive continuous process improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with program management best practices and organizational standards.
- 8 years of experience in program/project management, preferably within IT or Government contracting environments.
- Proven expertise in Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) management, risk registers, and PMO operations.
- Strong ability to navigate complex environments, balance competing priorities, and drive results.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, and building consensus.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira) and strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
- PMP or PgMP certification (or equivalent experience managing enterprise programs).
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and implement solutions.
- Adaptability and a proactive mindset, capable of driving progress in dynamic environments.
- Experience with cybersecurity, encryption technologies, or IT security best practices.
- Familiarity with Government regulations and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA).
- Active IRS MBI Clearance.
