What You’ll Do:
We are searching for an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to join our team.
The Cloud Architect will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of the organization’s cloud-based systems and strategies. This will involve understanding our organization’s cloud needs, creating and implementing cloud systems, and overseeing their functionality. Our ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of Azure and a solid understanding of network operations, software development, and information security.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Design, develop and manage robust, secure, scalable, highly available, and dynamic solutions on the cloud
- Evaluate and implement cloud strategies and architectures
- Application Modernization
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement scalable cloud-based applications
- Manage and maintain the cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security
- Work closely with IT security to monitor the company’s cloud privacy
- Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud
- Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot technical issues
- Stay current with industry trends, making recommendations as needed to help the company excel
- 8 years of experience as a Cloud Applications Architect
- 5 years of experience with Azure or similar platforms
- Understanding of network operations, software development, and information security
- Proficient in cloud ecosystems, APIs, and frameworks
- Experience with coding languages like Python, Java, or .NET
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field
