Job Title: Advanced CT Imaging Specialist
Duties:
- Perform CT scans using advanced imaging protocols for diagnostic accuracy.
- Conduct equipment calibration and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Prepare and administer contrast media while monitoring patient safety.
- Ensure compliance with documentation standards for patient records and imaging logs.
- Follow ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
- Educate patients about imaging procedures and provide comfort throughout the process.
- Collaborate with radiologists to ensure timely interpretation of imaging studies.
- Maintain inventory of radiopharmaceuticals and supplies.
Skills:
- Experience with CT imaging equipment and techniques.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to adhere to safety and compliance standards.
Education:
- Valid NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist license.
- ARRT certification in CT required.
- BLS certification preferred.
Pay Range: Weekly: $2,500 - $3,300
