Job Title : Application Developer [Web Application System]
Location : NYC, NY
Mandatory Requirements :
Location : Must be based in the NYC area and able to work onsite.
Experience : Prior experience working with NYC agencies is required.
Project Description :
This initiative involves refining technologies, applications, and services through a continuous improvement process in partnership with various divisions, external service organizations, and contractors. The goal is to align a cutting-edge IT strategy with business objectives, empowering staff, clients, and partners to enhance service delivery. Additionally, it includes implementing IT policies and standards, meeting data security requirements, conducting IT planning and acquisition activities, and providing technology training.
Tasks & Duties :
Development and Design :
Create and develop web application specifications.
Develop system design, documentation, and perform coding.
Build applications using C#, .NET, .NET Core, Web API, Angular 12 / 13 / 15 / 16 and later versions, and SQL Server 2019.
Develop APIs to enable seamless communication between applications.
Design and develop supporting databases.
Estimate work scope and manage work plans for product development.
Reporting and Testing :
Design and implement reports to track project progress and provide an audit trail of user actions.
Conduct and coordinate unit and acceptance testing of application features and functionality.
Perform testing, evaluation, and code reviews to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.
Research and Technical Analysis :
Transform business requirements into detailed technical deliverables.
Analyze and resolve technical problems efficiently.
Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies.
Conduct research and prepare proof of concept documents.
Project Management and Collaboration :
Use Azure DevOps and Agile Development Methodology as tools for project management and product delivery.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams for real-world delivery.
Required Skills :
4 Years experience with ASP.NET, C#, Angular JS, Angular 12 / 13 framework, Node.js, Bootstrap, and SQL Server.
4 Years experience with MongoDB, Web APIs, and RESTful web / cloud services.
4 Years working in cross-functional teams and delivering real-world applications.
4 Years experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), DevOps tools (e.g., Octopus, Jenkins), and Pivotal Products.
4 Years experience creating data architecture diagrams for database design and migration.
4 Years experience conducting research and preparing proof of concept documents.
