Job Title: Application/Software Developer III
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 2 Months (Potential for Extension)
Overview:
A leading Enterprise Applications team is seeking an experienced Application/Software Developer III to support and enhance Records Management System (RMS) and Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) applications. This role requires hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies and .NET programming, along with strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, customers, and third-party vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in requirement gathering sessions and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Prepare and maintain software design and technical documentation.
- Develop and customize solutions to meet specific customer requirements.
- Support testing efforts with internal teams and external vendors.
- Execute project tasks in alignment with defined schedules and milestones.
- Stay up to date with Public Safety industry standards and specifications relevant to RMS and CAD development.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Microsoft .NET Developer with strong expertise in:
- .NET, C#, REST APIs
- T-SQL, SSIS, and SSRS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- Proven ability to deliver technical solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with RMS and CAD systems configuration, integration, and development.
- Full Stack development experience, including:
- XML/XSL, JSON, SQL Server, Power BI
- Hands-on experience with version control and build/release tools such as:
- Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Azure DevOps, or Git
- Familiarity with Public Safety workflows and systems such as:
- Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS)
- National Crime Information Center (NCIC) interfaces
