Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM, 3 x 12-hour shifts

Job Summary :
The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) supports the Nurse Manager in overseeing clinical operations within the department. This role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, supporting staff, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. The ANM will also assist with recruitment and retention, contribute to department goals, and collaborate on evidence-based practice initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Interpret, support, and communicate policies, standards, and procedures to staff.
- Serve as a role model for professionalism and quality care in nursing.
- Identify cost containment strategies and propose alternative product utilization measures.
- Serve on-call based on unit requirements.
- Participate in special projects as assigned by leadership.
- Adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
- In collaboration with the Nurse Manager, assist with recruitment, retention, and staff engagement initiatives.
- Participate in unit huddles and leader rounding with staff.
- Contribute to unit goal creation that aligns with hospital objectives and mission.
- Lead or participate in evidence-based practice projects, research, and hospital-wide committees.
