JOB TITLE : Business Analyst_2
PROJECT DESCRIPTION : Coordinated Assessment and Placement CAPS is a Federal requirement and HRA is primarily responsible for its design, development, maintenance and enhancement. CAPS is the primary system of HRA's Coordinated Entry unit for its day-to-day operations, identifying and facilitating housing opportunities for the City's most vulnerable populations experiencing homelessness. CAPS is essential for NYC's homeless shelters, street outreach teams, supportive housing providers and many other external stakeholders as the primary tool to assess clients for potential housing eligibility.
Tasks & Duties
- Co-ordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of application
- Develop Requirements Traceability Matrix, test plan, test cases and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate UAT and program signoff among UAT staff testers, developers, and stakeholders.
- Implement information technology quality assurance standards.
- Develop business and technical requirements
- Identify user stories and translate them into technical requirements as required.
- Develop user stories and break down requirements into deliverable functionality.
- Review the requirements with the stakeholders for their approval.
- Implement critical system enhancements and bug fixes to meet business needs
- Analyze and document current systems and processes as currently implemented.
- Make recommendations for improvements based on client feedback.
- Work directly with business stakeholders, clients, designers, developers, and engineers to coordinate the building of applications to spec and on time.
