Project Description:
This role supports the CurRent NYC initiative, which focuses on creating an application to enhance landlord interactions with the agency. The objectives include providing better customer service, enabling self-service options, facilitating electronic rent payments, and ensuring accurate payments for all programs and tenants (the "golden record" concept). The system currently in production supports CityFHEPS application submission, processing, and eligibility determinations while maintaining landlord and property records. It also offers landlords an online account with functionalities such as updating information, viewing payment history, and enrolling in electronic payments. The project requires significant enhancements to achieve the outlined process improvements and address the original goals comprehensively.
Tasks & Duties:
- Develop business and technical requirements, management reporting, and information dissemination.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for developing and enhancing rental assistance programs, City portal, and landlord portals.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and meetings with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications for the portals.
- Create comprehensive functional specifications and business process documentation in Azure to guide development teams in building new functionalities for the City and Landlord portals.
- Ensure all requirements are clearly defined, traceable, and testable.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing and validation to ensure the portals function as expected.
- Perform impact assessments and ensure seamless communication between systems by liaising with business stakeholders and technical teams (Development and QA).
- Develop system design documentation that developers will use to implement system enhancements.
Required Skills:
- 4 Years Experience in requirement gathering, business process modeling, and conducting user acceptance testing.
- 4 Years Experience in gap analysis, feasibility studies, SQL, and data analysis.
- 4 Years Experience in business analysis, project methodologies, SCRUM, and Agile development methodologies.
- 4 Years Experience in designing workflows and process flows and preparing BRD, FRD, and SRS documents.
- 4 Years Understanding of IT systems and process optimization.
