Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer Specialist
Duties:
- Perform m-mode, 2-D, Doppler, and color Doppler echocardiograms, as well as contrast and stress echocardiograms.
- Complete worksheets and necessary calculations with accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist cardiologists during diagnostic procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain and clean ultrasound equipment, keeping the workspace organized and well-stocked.
- Educate patients on the procedures and address any concerns they may have.
- Provide training to students and fellows and participate in continuing education for professional growth.
- Document all exams in patient records and comply with clinical standards of care for adult and geriatric patients.
Skills Required:
- Current registry status required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echocardiographer preferred.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and patient transfer.
- Proficiency in verbal and written English communication for effective documentation and patient interaction.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
Pay Range:
- Weekly: $2,000 - $2,500
- Monthly: $8,000 - $10,000
Salary : $8,000 - $10,000
