Job Title: Cath Lab Cardiovascular Technician
Duties:
- Monitor and document blood pressure and hemodynamic changes during cardiac catheterizations.
- Record intracardiac pressure readings as directed by the physician.
- Ensure real-time data accuracy using specialized lab equipment and software.
- Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot devices, including intra-aortic balloon pumps and dye injectors.
- Assist with the selection and handling of procedural tools such as wires, balloons, and catheters.
- Maintain a sterile field and prepare equipment for cardiac catheterization.
- Operate power injectors for contrast dye applications and manage post-procedure data.
- Support the healthcare team in transporting and positioning patients.
- Stay updated on new cardiac technologies and apply them effectively in the lab.
Skills:
- Familiarity with STEMI and cardiogenic shock care.
- Strong knowledge of cath lab tools and equipment maintenance.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant experience may be considered.
Pay Range:
- Weekly: $1,900 - $2,100
- Monthly: $7,600 - $8,400
