Central Sterile Processing Technician
Qualifications:
- Must have successfully completed a nationally accredited central service technician exam and be certified as a Central Service Technician OR have at least one year of experience in a healthcare facility as a Central Service Technician.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.
Duties:
- Decontaminates, disinfects, and sterilizes surgical instruments and trays.
- Assembles and prepares sterile instrument sets for operating rooms and clinical departments.
- Operates sterilization equipment, including autoclaves, Steris, and Sterrad.
- Monitors and records sterilization cycles for compliance.
- Responds to urgent requests from clinical staff for surgical instruments and supplies.
Pay: Medium weekly pay range: $2,100 - $2,300 per week
