Job Title: Certified Cancer Data Specialist
Duties:
- Abstract and input oncology data into the tumor registry database.
- Monitor data accuracy and compliance with national cancer registry guidelines.
- Prepare reports for accreditation, research, and quality improvement purposes.
- Update knowledge base with ongoing education in oncology and cancer registry standards.
Skills:
- 3 years of tumor registry experience in an acute care or equivalent setting.
- Strong knowledge of oncology terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Tumor Registry certification (CTR), RHIA, or RHIT required.
Pay Range:
- Weekly: $735 - $965
- Monthly: $2,940 - $3,860
