Job Title: Claims Resolution Specialist

Duties:

  • Manage patient accounts by preparing and submitting claims, both electronically and on paper.
  • Investigate and resolve claim rejections, denials, and edits efficiently.
  • Handle pre-authorizations and follow up on pending claims and balances.
  • Provide billing assistance to patients, documenting all communications in the system.
  • Monitor and address accounts listed on aging reports, including insurance and patient balances.
  • Escalate unresolved cases to supervisors and participate in departmental training.

Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of billing systems, claim processing, and financial account audits.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School diploma with 4 years of related experience acceptable.
