Clinical Histology Technician
Qualifications:
- NYS License/registration or limited permit to practice as a Histological Technician or Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
- Two years of experience in histology or a clinical research setting.
- Ability to distinguish color variations in tissue staining procedures.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.
Duties:
- Perform high-precision histology techniques, including tissue embedding, microtomy, and staining.
- Conduct enzyme histochemistry and immunohistochemical staining.
- Process neuropathology, renal biopsies, and muscle biopsy specimens.
- Maintain laboratory specimen records and enter data accurately.
- Follow quality control procedures and safety standards.
Pay: $3,700 - $4,700 per week
