Job Title : CNA / Student Support Assistant / Health Assistant
Job Location : Pheonix, AZ
Shift : Monday through Thursday (7 : 30 -3 : 30)
Job Description :
This position involves supporting students with special needs, including those who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Blind, or Visually Impaired, ages 3-5. Responsibilities include monitoring students using and caring for equipment to ensure safety, assisting with lifting and caring for students, and maintaining accurate student records as required by Federal, State, and Agency policies. The role also includes transporting students to and from activities or appointments when necessary and participating in professional growth opportunities, including training sessions and workshops.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor students during the use of equipment to prevent injuries.
- Observe, record, and maintain student files in compliance with Federal, State, and Agency policies.
- Provide physical assistance with lifting, toileting, feeding, and hygiene.
- Transport students to and from activities and appointments.
- Continue professional growth through training and workshops.
