Developmental Support Advocate
Description:
Support individuals with developmental disabilities by providing coaching, teaching, and direct care in residential environments. Assist with daily routines such as dressing, toileting, and feeding. Facilitate skill development and recreational activities, ensuring member engagement and well-being. Administer medications, implement therapeutic plans, and maintain cleanliness in the home.
Mandatory Skills:
- Knowledge of developmental disability care and therapeutic approaches
- Experience in ADL assistance and skill-building activities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends
- Physical capability to perform lifting and other tasks
Pay:
$43,000 - $60,000 annually
