Position: Epic Application Coordinator (Radiant)
Duration: 5 Months

Summary:
A leading healthcare technology services provider is seeking an experienced Epic Application Coordinator (Radiant) to support the implementation and post-go-live stabilization of an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system for a newly acquired medical facility. The project requires a highly skilled contractor to assist with scoping, configuration, testing, and optimization of the Epic system within an ambitious timeline.
Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will work closely with operational leadership and in-house staff to:
- Identify and document business and technical requirements.
- Define, document, and execute new or revised workflows within the Epic system.
- Build and maintain integrations with third-party applications.
- Conduct testing to ensure workflow accuracy and system viability.
- Support post-go-live issue resolution and stabilization efforts.
- Provide guidance on workflow optimization for future project phases.
Typical Tasks:
- Conduct interviews with end-users and stakeholders to create detailed business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Configure Epic Radiant software to align with organizational needs and best practices.
- Analyze business operations and recommend process improvements while ensuring standardization.
- Collaborate with internal teams, Epic representatives, and project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
- Support change management, data migration, and peer review processes.
- Ensure seamless interoperability between Epic and other supporting applications, including inbound/outbound interfaces.
- Develop and execute test plans, document results, and facilitate end-user testing.
- Assist in training preparation by providing insights to instructional designers.
- Maintain documentation of work progress, including remote activity logs and build tracking reports.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of Epic application build and implementation experience in a healthcare system environment.
- Certification: Epic Radiant certification, accreditation, or demonstrated proficiency.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in business analysis and project management.
- Previous Epic implementation experience in health systems or hospitals.
- Experience working with safety-net hospitals or similar environments.
- Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and drive them to completion.
- Strong understanding of translating business needs into technical solutions.
