High-Risk Obstetric Technician
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a health-related field or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of high-risk labor and delivery care.
- Experience in a Level 1 trauma center or high-risk OB unit preferred.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.
Duties:
- Assists with labor and delivery for high-risk patients.
- Supports C-sections, emergency deliveries, and maternal-fetal procedures.
- Prepares and maintains sterile environments for high-risk cases.
- Monitors and records patient vitals.
- Provides assistance with neonatal stabilization after delivery.
- Ensures all surgical tools and emergency supplies are readily available.
