Histotechnologist – Clinical Laboratory
Qualifications:
- NYS License/registration or limited permit to practice as a certified Histological Technician or Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
- Minimum of 2 years of histology or clinical laboratory experience required.
- Ability to distinguish colors accurately.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.
Duties:
- Perform histology sectioning and staining, including special stains and immunohistochemical techniques.
- Conduct advanced histology procedures such as neuropathology, enzyme histochemistry, and renal/nerve biopsies.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of clinical and research specimens.
- Perform computer data entry for surgical pathology and research specimens.
- Maintain specimen records and billing information with precision.
- Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and ensure patient confidentiality.
Pay: $3,200 - $4,200 per week
