Inpatient Mental Health Aide
Qualifications:
- Experience working in an inpatient psychiatric setting within the last two years preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with medical and psychological terminology.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.
Duties:
- Assists with patient care in a structured inpatient psychiatric unit.
- Helps monitor patient behavior and report observations to nursing staff.
- Assists with admissions, including documentation and physical assessments.
- Provides support during group therapy sessions and recreational activities.
- Ensures the safety of patients by conducting routine safety checks.
