Inpatient Pharmacy Technician
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Six months of experience assisting pharmacists with medication dispensing or a PTCB certification/ASHP-accredited training.
- Understanding of medication storage and pharmacy protocols.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Must pass pre-employment health clearance.
Duties:
- Fills unit dose medication carts and IV admixtures.
- Assists in inpatient medication order processing.
- Delivers and stocks medications to designated patient care areas.
- Monitors inventory and restocks essential supplies.
- Prepares sterile and non-sterile compounded medications under pharmacist supervision.
- Cleans and maintains pharmacy equipment.
Pay: High weekly pay range: $1,800 - $2,300 per week
