Labor and Delivery OR Technician
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a health-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Understanding of operating room sterile techniques.
- Experience in OB or OR settings preferred.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.
Duties:
- Prepares and maintains sterile fields for obstetric surgeries.
- Assists in emergency and routine C-sections as the primary scrub tech.
- Monitors and reports changes in laboring patients to nurses.
- Takes and records patient vital signs.
- Ensures all surgical instruments are prepared and sterilized properly.
- Provides comfort and information to patients and families.
Pay: Medium weekly pay range: $2,100 - $2,300 per week
