Job Title: Logistics Support Coordinator
Location: Springdale, AR
Duration: 3 Months
Shift:
- 1st shift: Sunday–Thursday, 8 AM – 5 PM
- Training: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (May include Sat/Sun to shadow off-shift staff)
SUMMARY:
The Logistics Support Coordinator acts as the link between client Supply Chain operations, transportation carriers, and customers. This role focuses on ensuring smooth freight movement, addressing service issues, and using logistics systems to resolve load execution problems. Close collaboration with internal teams and external partners is essential for on-time performance and customer satisfaction.
FULL DESCRIPTION:
- Communicates daily with transportation carriers and internal shipping teams.
- Resolves logistics and freight issues using dispatch tools like TES, LME, FourKites, and external scheduling systems including Retail Link, UNFI, and One Network.
- Coordinates order changes, late shipments, and delivery updates.
- Supports proactive tracking and communication to improve on-time metrics.
- Learns and applies all relevant transportation policies and customer-specific requirements.
- Tracks performance data and provides regular reporting to support process improvements.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in logistics or transportation
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics coordination, supply chain, or dispatch roles
Computer Skills:
- Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
Communication Skills:
- Clear, concise verbal/written communication
- Conflict resolution and high-volume multitasking required
