Job Title: Mammography Imaging Technician
Duties:
- Operate mammography equipment to perform routine screenings and diagnostic imaging.
- Ensure compliance with departmental protocols for positioning, compression, and imaging techniques.
- Label and evaluate images for quality before transferring them to PACS.
- Maintain detailed records in the tracking system for all patient studies.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards outlined by MQSA and other governing bodies.
Skills Required:
- Strong technical skills with mammography equipment.
- Effective communication and patient care abilities.
Education:
- New York State Diagnostic Radiography License required.
- ARRT certification mandatory.
Pay Range:
- Weekly: $2,300 - $2,550
- Monthly: $9,200 - $10,200
