Medical Dosimetrist

Qualifications :

  • Must be a Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD).
  • Must be in good standing with continuing education credits with the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB).
  • Strong knowledge of treatment planning and dose calculations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.

Duties :

  • Develop external beam treatment plans based on physician prescriptions.
  • Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists and Medical Physicists to determine optimal treatment delivery.
  • Perform dose calculations to ensure accurate radiation delivery to the tumor volume.
  • Maintain and document medical record quality checks.
  • Assist in patient localization, simulation, and planning CT procedures.
  • Participate in volume contouring and treatment plan optimization.
