Medical Dosimetrist
Qualifications:
- Must be a Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD).
- Must be in good standing with continuing education credits with the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB).
- Strong knowledge of treatment planning and dose calculations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.
Duties:
- Develop external beam treatment plans based on physician prescriptions.
- Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists and Medical Physicists to determine optimal treatment delivery.
- Perform dose calculations to ensure accurate radiation delivery to the tumor volume.
- Maintain and document medical record quality checks.
- Assist in patient localization, simulation, and planning CT procedures.
- Participate in volume contouring and treatment plan optimization.
