Medical Laboratory Scientist – Blood Bank
Qualifications:
- NYS licensure or eligibility to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
- Ability to distinguish colors in blood and plasma samples.
- Two years of experience in a blood bank or transfusion services preferred.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.
Duties:
- Perform blood compatibility testing for transfusions.
- Process and document test results with precision.
- Maintain and troubleshoot blood bank instruments.
- Follow protocols for handling and storage of blood samples.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Pay: $3,400 - $4,400 per week
