Job Title : Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist
Location : Morristown, NJ, 07960, US
Schedule :
Full-time (5 days per week).
Shifts vary based on department needs.
Weekend and weekday on-call requirements apply.
Job Summary :
The Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist works alongside proceduralists during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, ensuring seamless operation of fluoroscopic equipment and adherence to sterile techniques.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist proceduralists in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular cases, including scrubbing and circulating during procedures.
Operate advanced fluoroscopic modality machines for cardiovascular imaging.
Ensure proper handling and documentation of cardiovascular devices and products.
Utilize critical thinking to support proceduralists during complex cardiovascular interventions.
Operate and maintain power injection devices for contrast media.
Maintain sterile fields and infection control standards during all procedures.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, radiologists, and surgeons.
Document procedures and send images to PACS systems.
Provide groin care and post-intervention support.
Communicate effectively using closed-loop communication techniques.
Skills & Expertise Required :
3–5 years of experience as a Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist.
Knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and equipment.
Education : Required :
High School Diploma / GED.
Associate degree or accredited radiographic program completion.
Certifications & Licensure :
NJ radiographic licensure.
BLS certification from an AHA-accredited provider.
