Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical/Telemetry Unit
Location: NJ (Traveller RN - Multiple Locations Onsite in NJ)
Hours:
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- 3 shifts per week
- Every other weekend required
Job Summary:
- In this position, the RN will be responsible for providing post-operative and telemetry monitoring for patients in the Surgical/Telemetry Unit. Care will be provided to patients recovering from surgeries and requiring cardiac monitoring.
Responsibilities:
- Perform post-surgical assessments and telemetry monitoring.
- Administer medications and fluids based on patient needs.
- Educate patients and families on post-surgical care and recovery.
- Float to other units as needed.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2 years of nursing experience in a surgical or telemetry unit.
- Ability to manage post-operative care and telemetry monitoring.
Education & Certifications:
- ASN required, BSN preferred.
- Certifications: NIHSS, Telemetry, BLS-AHA.
