Nurse Practitioner – Acute Care
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience.
- Prior inpatient experience strongly preferred.
- NYS licensed/registered NP with a specialty area of certification consistent with practice.
- Possession of Medicare NPI# or eligibility to apply.
- CPR and ACLS certification required.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.
Duties:
- Works in collaboration with attending physicians to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Conducts health assessments and develops individualized treatment plans.
- Documents patient data in the medical record accurately and efficiently.
- Provides patient and family education regarding treatment and follow-up care.
- Utilizes prescriptive authority under physician collaboration.
Pay: Medium weekly pay range: $2,500 - $3,200 per week
