Nurse Practitioner – Cardiology
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience in cardiology or cardiovascular care.
- NYS licensed/registered NP with a cardiology specialty preferred.
- CPR and ACLS certification required.
- Experience in managing heart failure, arrhythmias, and hypertension preferred.
Duties:
- Evaluates and manages patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
- Orders and interprets diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
- Assists in cardiac catheterization and other interventional procedures.
- Provides education on heart disease prevention and lifestyle modifications.
- Works closely with cardiologists and rehabilitation teams.
Pay: Medium weekly pay range: $2,500 - $3,200 per week
