Nurse Practitioner – Emergency Medicine
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience in emergency or urgent care settings.
- Prior inpatient or trauma care experience preferred.
- NYS licensed/registered NP with an emergency medicine specialty preferred.
- CPR and ACLS certification required.
- Must possess strong critical-thinking and decision-making skills.
Duties:
- Provides immediate evaluation and treatment of emergency department patients.
- Assists in triage, ordering diagnostics, and interpreting test results.
- Performs minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care.
- Collaborates with ER physicians and nurses for rapid patient management.
- Documents assessments and treatments efficiently in medical records.
Pay: Medium weekly pay range: $2,500 - $3,200 per week
