Nurse Practitioner – Oncology
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of oncology experience.
- NYS licensed/registered NP with an oncology specialty preferred.
- CPR and ACLS certification required.
- Experience in chemotherapy administration and palliative care preferred.
Duties:
- Provides care for oncology patients, including symptom management and treatment planning.
- Monitors and adjusts chemotherapy and radiation therapy plans.
- Educates patients and families on treatment expectations and disease progression.
- Coordinates care with oncologists, radiologists, and palliative care teams.
- Manages pain, nausea, and other cancer-related symptoms.
Pay: Medium weekly pay range: $2,500 - $3,200 per week
