Nurse Practitioner – Pulmonology
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience in pulmonology or respiratory care.
- NYS licensed/registered NP with a pulmonary or critical care specialty preferred.
- CPR and ACLS certification required.
- Experience managing chronic lung conditions and ventilator settings preferred.
Duties:
- Manages patients with COPD, asthma, and interstitial lung diseases.
- Conducts pulmonary function tests and interprets imaging studies.
- Assists in the management of ventilator-dependent patients.
- Provides patient education on inhaler techniques, oxygen therapy, and smoking cessation.
- Collaborates with pulmonologists and respiratory therapists for optimal care planning.
Pay: Medium weekly pay range: $2,500 - $3,200 per week
