Operating Room Technician – Orthopedic Surgery
Qualifications:
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum 3 years of recent OR experience in an acute care setting.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
- Scrub experience in orthopedic and trauma surgeries.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.
Duties:
- Assists with orthopedic procedures, including joint replacements and trauma cases.
- Maintains sterile field and ensures surgical instruments are available.
- Prepares patients and surgical suites for procedures.
- Handles and maintains specialized orthopedic surgical tools.
- Works collaboratively with surgeons and OR staff.
