Job Title : Patient Access Representative
Duties :
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using IDX or similar systems.
- Perform full patient registration, ensuring clinical, demographic, and financial information is accurate and complete.
- Collect co-payments and reconcile payments with charges daily, maintaining detailed records.
- Process referrals and pre-authorizations, ensuring compliance with managed care guidelines.
- Enter and reconcile charges using CPT-4 and ICD-9 coding in IDX or Eagle systems.
- Greet and check in patients, providing directions and assistance as needed.
- Monitor patient flow and resolve registration and processing issues.
