Job Title: Patient Account Investigator
Duties:
- Audit and update patient financial accounts for accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare, submit, and monitor claims for both paper and electronic billing systems.
- Address claim denials, rejections, and discrepancies by working with payers and internal teams.
- Manage pre-authorizations and document responses in the system.
- Generate and analyze aging reports to identify outstanding balances.
- Assist patients with billing inquiries, establish payment plans, and escalate cases as needed.
Skills Required:
- Experience in claims processing, customer service, and financial account management.
- Proficiency in billing systems and database management.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience; minimum High School diploma required.
Stipend:
- Weekly: $1,400 - $1,900
- Monthly: $5,600 - $7,600
