Job Title: Patient Care Technician (PCT)
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist nurses and physicians in patient care and monitoring
- Record vital signs, medical history, and update patient records in EHR
- Help with wound care, dressing changes, and other minor procedures
- Draw blood, perform EKGs, and collect lab specimens
- Provide direct patient support, including mobility assistance and hygiene care
- Assist with medication administration and patient education
- Ensure proper sanitation of patient areas and medical equipment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a Patient Care Technician program preferred
- CNA, EMT, or Medical Assistant certification is a plus
- CPR/BLS certification required or willing to obtain
- Prior experience in a hospital, clinic, or outpatient setting is a plus
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
