Job Title: Patient Support Coordinator
Duties:
- Schedule patient appointments and follow-ups in IDX or equivalent systems.
- Complete registration tasks, ensuring accuracy in patient information and billing data.
- Collect payments, reconcile daily transactions, and maintain financial integrity.
- Assist with medical billing by entering CPT-4 and ICD-9 codes.
- Provide referral processing and pre-certification assistance for managed care patients.
- Greet and assist patients at the front desk, ensuring a positive experience.
- Resolve patient flow and registration issues in a timely manner.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and coding.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with insurance guidelines and billing systems.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required; additional healthcare-related training preferred.
Pay Range:
