Job Title: Patient Transport Specialist
Duties:
- Safely transport patients to various areas within the hospital using wheelchairs, stretchers, and other equipment.
- Assist nursing staff with transferring patients onto transport equipment.
- Ensure all patient transport activities comply with safety and confidentiality guidelines.
- Maintain transport equipment in clean and functional condition.
- Coordinate with healthcare teams to facilitate timely and efficient patient movement.
Skills Required:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to assist with patient transfers and operate transport equipment safely.
- Familiarity with hospital environments and protocols.
Credentials Required:
- Annual physical exam, background check, and TB test.
- Immunizations for COVID-19, flu, Hep B, MMR, and varicella or valid declinations.
- Vision screening and color blindness testing.
Pay Range:
- Weekly: $1,200 - $1,500
