Post-Operative Recovery Nurse
- Responsibilities: As a Post-Operative Recovery Nurse, you will provide care to patients immediately after surgery, monitoring their recovery from anesthesia and ensuring their comfort. Your responsibilities include assessing vital signs, managing pain, observing for complications, and assisting patients with regaining consciousness. You will provide emotional support and educate patients on their recovery process, as well as ensure that they meet discharge criteria before transitioning to the next phase of care.
- Required Skills: Knowledge of post-anesthesia recovery protocols, strong monitoring and assessment abilities, effective pain management, and the ability to work collaboratively with surgical and anesthesia teams.
- Qualifications: RN with experience in post-operative care or PACU.
- Stipend: Total stipend of $2,700 weekly / $11,550 monthly.
