Job Description:
This position provides administrative and operational support to the purchasing team by tracking orders, maintaining vendor files, and managing communications with internal departments and external suppliers. The assistant will help ensure timely and accurate procurement of goods and services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enter and track purchase orders in SAP and follow up on vendor confirmations.
- Maintain digital and physical records of contracts and supplier data.
- Assist in verifying invoice discrepancies and resolving payment delays.
- Coordinate with the accounts payable and receiving departments.
- Support procurement team with ad hoc reporting and process audits.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 3 years in supply chain support or procurement
- Computer Skills: Outlook proficiency, SAP preferred
- Communication Skills: Good written and verbal skills
