Position Details:
The Quality Assurance Specialist 3 will play a key role in testing, scripting, and ensuring the quality of Integrated Eligibility systems. Candidates should have a background in software testing, experience with QA best practices, and proficiency in both manual and automated testing.
Responsibilities:
- Provide quality assurance for Integrated Eligibility systems, including Medicaid, SNAP/TANF, or Child Care.
- Test eligibility rules and processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Conduct reports and integration testing, with knowledge of test management tools.
- Develop, script, and execute tests manually and using automation tools such as Selenium and Cucumber.
- Coordinate QA resources and serve as a point of contact for release testing.
- Ensure testing adheres to established QA processes, schedules, and quality standards.
- Provide detailed feedback on testing outcomes and defects, following issues to closure.
- Work within Agile frameworks, including regression testing.
- Maintain knowledge of SDLC and defect lifecycles.
- Respond promptly and professionally to stakeholder inquiries.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Experience:
- 7 years of experience with Health and Human Services (HHS) eligibility systems and policy.
- 7 years of experience as a tester, focusing on Medicaid and SNAP/TANF benefits.
- Testing Expertise:
- Strong skills in writing and executing test scripts.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks, regression testing, and test management software.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Proficiency in QA processes, defect lifecycle, and SDLC principles.
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium and Cucumber is preferred.
- Communication:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with eligibility systems and policies.
- Knowledge of performance improvement tools and test management processes.
