Radiology Aide - Patient Transport Specialist
Job Summary:
Support the radiology team by facilitating patient transport, preparing rooms, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily workflows. Provide assistance to both patients and staff to maintain an efficient and patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities:
- Transport patients to and from radiology departments safely and efficiently.
- Prepare, clean, and restock radiology rooms between procedures.
- Answer phones, manage data entry, and assist with scheduling tasks.
- Learn and utilize Epic Rover for communication and workflow optimization.
- Support radiology staff with additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a hospital or clinical environment preferred.
- Ability to lift and transport patients safely.
- Familiarity with Epic Rover or willingness to learn.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
