Registered Nurse – Adolescent Psychiatric Nurse
Qualifications:
- Active RN license with at least 2 years of experience in adolescent mental health.
- PALS and CPI certification required.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health issues affecting adolescents.
Duties:
- Provide psychiatric nursing care for adolescent patients in inpatient or outpatient settings.
- Conduct mental health assessments and monitor emotional well-being.
- Implement crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
- Assist with therapy groups and psychoeducation for adolescents and families.
- Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
- Collaborate with school counselors and social workers to support continuity of care.
- Maintain a safe environment that promotes adolescent mental health recovery.
Pay:
- Medium weekly pay range: $2,100 - $2,850
